چکیده
An alkaline volcanic activity with a relative Plio-Quaternary age (based on the succession of layers field) occurred in northern part Uromieh Dokhatar magmatic belt, Iran. Hornblendite xenoliths mostly displaying cumulitic texture occur trachyandesites from this episode. The thermobarometric results indicate that these formed within crust. Based mineralogical and chemical characteristics, are divided into two groups. In Group 1, plagioclase (andesine) modal content is less than 10% while amphibole (magnesiohastingsite) biotite main minerals. 2, (labradorite) higher 20% (pargasite) Positive anomalies U, Ba, Ti, K hornblendite probably related to accumulation process biotite. study composition amphiboles indicates crystallization 1 2 host rock under high oxidation conditions. display LREE/HREE LREE/MREE ratios. 86 Sr/ 87 Sr ratios Groups rocks 0.706291, 0.704685, 0.709545, respectively, 143 Nd/ 144 Nd 0.512580, 0.512736, 0.512561, respectively. characterized by negative Eu anomaly positive for 2. Considering REE concentrations distribution patterns, major element compositions amphibole, biotite, as well isotopic ratios, it appears parental melts differ composition. Petrography and chemistry of minerals showing that Eocene alkaline volcanic rocks in southwestern of Germi (Talesh zone, NW Iran) mostly have basaltic composition. Mineralogically these rocks are composed of diopsidic clinopyroxene and labradoritic plagioclase phenocrysts. متن کاملThermometry and determine the characterization of magma of Cretaceous acidic rocks using the zircon mineral morphology and compare it with whole-rock chemistry in SE Saqqez, NW Iran
Zircon is an stable mineral during post crystallization processes and preserves characters of magmatic events. Zircon morphology can give some information about temperature, nature, and source of the magma. Study of the zircon morphology of Cretaceous granitoids and acidic volcanics from the southeast Saqqez area reveals that most of the crystals are P5 and S25 types with high alkalinity (I.A.)...

introduction the study area is a small part of the urumieh-dokhtar structural zone in the markazi province, located in the northeastern part of the farmahin, north of arak (hajian, 1970). the volcanic rocks studied from the area include andesite, dacite, rhyodacite, ignimbrite and tuff of middle to late eocene age (middle lutetian to upper lutetian) (ameri et al., 2009). it seems that folding a...
متن کاملA study of different zoning types in clinopyroxenes of sodic and potassic alkaline volcanic rocks from North Lahrud, NW Iran
Clinopyroxene phenocrysts and microphenocrysts in potassic and sodic Eosen alkaline volcanic rocks from the northern Lahrud (NW Iran) record various stages in the crystallization and evolution history of the alkaline melt as well as its origin. The rock series hosting the clinopyroxene phenocrysts is phonolitic tephrite and tephritic phonolite composition. Theses rocks generally show porphyriti...

Alkaline volcanic rocks of the northwest of Marand with Plio-Quaternary age are located in the northern part of Urumieh-Dokhtar Magmatic Arc. These rocks have a distinct enrichment in LILE and LREE and depletion in HFSE (such as Ta and Nb) and high Ba/Ta and Ba/Nb ratios, which are among the characteristics of subduction zones. The majority of hornblenditic autholiths and hornblenditic xenolith...
